Party Dog!

I got my dog in May of 2003 off the streets of Corpus Christi. Her leg was broken and the vet said it had been that way for a whole month, but if you would like to read about the whole story, please click on the link at the right titled: Cookie Belle.

In May of 2003 the vet said she was 5 months old. I didn't think much of it because I wasn't going to keep her. I was going to help her and then get rid of her....can you believe that? Anyway, one day I came home from work and was greeted at the door by my sweet girl and without any premeditation at all I said, "Happy Birthday!" It was January 10th.

So that is the story of how Cookie got her birthday and now I want to share how we celebrated her day?

First we tracked some vermin in the back yard.

Then we went to Panjo's and shared a burger and chips.

Then we ran down the street with a ferral labrador.

Then we went to Starbucks and they gave her a cup of whipped topping.

Then we went to Moore Than Feed and got a new pink color AND a tag with her name and phone numbers on it.

Happy 4th Birthday Cookie.

Which makes her 28 in human years right?

Well Happy Birthday Cookie! What a day you have had and I cannot think of anybuddy who deserves it more. Your Mama is one lucky lady to have a friend like you. I guess you are lucky too to have a Mama like her. I am glad you all had a good day. Is January 10th you birthday for always? If so, I will put you on my calendar. Hugs and kisses to you and your Mama with love from Gweema.

Cathern: This is a sweet end to my day. I'm not sure who is more blessed...you or Cookie. I think you should have fed her several kitty snacks for her birthday. I sooo want to come and visit you, but I'm afraid that I won't be able to breathe. Less puss...more wuff!!

Well, I'm glad "Cujo" had a great day. I truly think you should invest in the watching of the Dog Whisperer for her, she'll thank you for it later. Hey, I went to get that fabric with the snowflakes on it at Wal Mart. They were out! But......the lady remembered that she had some to mark down in the file cabinet, so I got 2 yards for $1.50. That stuff was regularly $3.99 a yard!!! I forgot my scrapbooks, I'll bring them Monday. Maybe you should come out to my house tomorrow and visit!!!!! See you later! If I can not get the word verification right this time, I'm boycotting your blog!!!!

I am trying again!!!!!!!!
