Catherine Eve

It was the day before Catherine and all through the house, not a creature was stirring.... oh who am I kidding, the kittens are bouncing off the walls. If they weighed more they would be knocking over furniture. I have two left from the four that Shane rescued and brought to me. Don't get me wrong, I love kittens, but honestly there is something called too much of a good thing.
Anyway, the two left are called Buttons (girl) and Bo (boy). It's so much fun, but I wonder about Tammy Faye (remember the white kitty). After all she is still a kitten and she has been relegated to a lesser rank before she had her full glory in the new kitten limelight.
I also wonder if that is how it is in human families. Does the baby of the family feel cheated when the newer, cuter baby comes along? Huh David?

That picture is hideous. How could you do that to your big sister. Any wonder that the first major investment I made after I left home and moved to Houston and went to work was contacts. This picture at leasts proves to everyone that you were born a true Hanna - CHUBBY!

Happy Birthday, porker!
I love you!
Your sister

Well as Catherine said, it was the night before Catherine and the family was at church (beings as how it was Sunday evening). I had an appointment to see Dr. Perryman the next morning so that he could tell me if I was ready to have Catherine. ("It" was Catherine even then.) And by the way I WAS READY. Anyway the next day, my sister who worked from 3 to 11 went with me and Dr. P. told me to go home and get my stuff and come back. I told him my "stuff" was in the car. He said go check in and let's have a baby. So I checked in and they gave me something to make the baby start and nothing happened. Barbara had to go to work at 3 in ER and as soon as she was gone, Cat got really active and was born at 3:35 (I think). Course by that time Mr. Hanna was there as well as Billy Carl, Glory Lillee and David as well. David was out in the patio doing the bounce trying to see in the window to get a look at Catherein. It was terrific excitement all over Freeport. What a day. I was so happy I cried tears of Joy. We finally had our Catherine. Praise the Lord

Here is Comment #2 from Gweema. I said Catherine was born at 3:35. It was 3:25 p.m. and Catherine, It was an accident that I spelled your name wrong. Please accept my apology as well as my Happy Catherine Eve wishes. I love you very much. MOM

Notice who is not in that picture. And for God's sakes I wonder why?

With that hair and those ears there was no room for baby Dave.
Not that he wanted anywhere near that new “kitten”.

Here’s how I remember it:

See that look on the little kitten, I was just off camera and she, it, is looking at me, with that frothy mouth pit bull on a leash I have.

Happy 12th day of Kitten!

I love you Cathurn,

David

I'm enjoying the Hanna banter. If only Billy Carl and Tom would weigh in, it would be a full house. Yahtzee!!!
